Whatever You Call It — Just Let It Be Real for You
Let’s be real for a second — with all the different names, gods, symbols, and spiritual paths out there, it’s easy to wonder: “Am I doing it right?”
You might ask, “Is it Shiva or Krishna? Allah or Jesus? Is there one true name?”
But here’s the beautiful thing — the deeper you go into spiritual traditions, especially in Vedanta, the more you realize: it’s not about getting the name right. It’s about making the relationship real.
The Vedic wisdom says something simple and powerful:
“The One becomes many.”
That’s not some mystical riddle — it’s compassion in action. It means the Divine, the Source, whatever you want to call it, takes on many forms so each of us can find our own way in.
Think of it like light through a stained glass window. The light is the same, but the colors and shapes change depending on your perspective. And that’s the point.
So whether you chant “Om Namah Shivaya” or whisper “Thank You” in your own language, it’s all sacred — if your heart is in it.
Even Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita:
“I accept every form of worship, as long as it’s offered with love.”
That means you don’t need fancy Sanskrit or the “right” image. You just need presence. Real connection. A moment where you drop the performance and just show up — raw, honest, willing.
So don’t overthink your practice.
Light a candle. Speak a name that feels close. Or sit in silence and just feel.
What matters isn’t what you say — but how true it is when you say it.
